The explosion proof motors are available for different scope of standards and applications, such as Atex, IECEx, cCSAus, EAC, Nema and UL for different temperature and hazard classes.
Atex EX d or e or de
An asynchronous squirrel cage motor designed and built to operate in explosive and flammable atmospheres. It has a wound stator, is closed (sealed) and externally ventilated according to EN 60034-6 (IC 411).
Combination EX d (motor) and EX e (terminal box)
The motors have an enclosed housing type that complies with the requirements of the European directives: (2014/34/UE “ATEX” – 2014/30/UE “EMC” – 2006/42/EC “Machinery” – 2011/65/CE “RoHS II”) and with IEC Ex scheme (only for Ex db and Ex tb protection).
